My Latest Shabby Fluffy Flowers

It's been awhile since I showed a flower that I've made for scrapbooking or for paper crafting..I can't take credit for this since I did see it on You Tube but my version is just a bit different...

First you want to start with 8 flowers, all the same color..
I didn't have 8 of one color so I put together colors that would blend together...

and this is the colors that I picked for another flower..
you can use any flower you like but the idea is to use a flower that has petals...
Now it's time to get the glue gun heating up..

Take two of the flowers and glue them together, try to move the layers so that the petals are not lined up.
Then you'll take the remaining six flowers and glue them in half..you don't need but a tiny drollop of hot glue...

Then you'll fold them in half one more time and glue again...

You'll get the bottom piece and add some glue in the middle and add your quarter pieces...and just keep adding...if you use one color you can skip this next step..

When using multicolored flowers...make each color a layer...rotating where each petal is glued on to work toward having a fluffy flower..
Add something in the middle, this time I used a pearl but I'v used buttons before...

and this one was so fluffy that there isn't any need for something in the middle...

Here's a blue that I made with 3 different shades of blue..

This flower was made from all eight flowers being the same color...very frilly and full.
Doesn't it look fantastic?
Later this week I'll show how I used this flower...

And here's the pink flower that I added to a toilet paper mini album...
Aren't these just the prettiest flowers..definitely easy and I hope you give these a try...

I'm linking to these parties...

  1. So cute!

I am starting my own linky party this ToDaY! It's the first one. I would love it if you would participate! It's called $10 Tuesdays and it's for things that cost less than $10 and take 20-30 mins (ish) to complete. I love inexpensive and quick projects and I'm guessing others will too ;) Thanks so much for considering.
