Quilt Banner and Poms

When we were putting together ideas for the baby shower...one thing kept coming up..
POMS..

And while there are lots of tutorials on the web..I decided to make my own intepretation of them...

I used coffee filters and food coloring to make different colors...

And while they weren't exactly what we wanted for the baby shower....

I turned them into a banner with my tattered quilt that I've been recycling..

And now I have a soft and summery banner in our dining room..

I love the quilt and all the different colors...

And I'm happy to have another project made from the tattered quilt...

Click here and here to see the two pillows I've made...
