My Latest Smash Book - Subject - Our Puppy, Coco

Back in August, I shared my latest Smash book that I'm working on.
The title/subject for this Smash Book is our puppy, Coco.
You can watch the video here, if you like.

I bought the Retro Blue Smashbook, because I love the soft blue color on the spine.

I love to use Smash books because there's no right or wrong way to add things to the book. Also I use my scrap paper and that saves me money and its a great way to use my leftovers.
The first two pages are where I share when Coco was born, June 7, 2013 and she weighed 2 pounds and 4 ounces when we got here, so very tiny!

Even now it's fun to look back at the pictures and the list I put together.

Because we have cats, we have lots of cat toys! With Coco being so tiny, she loves cat toys, most of the dog and puppy toys are too big for her! And how Coco loves the stray kitten that we recently brought into our home - they are buds and are never without each other.

This is a great example of using paper scraps. I have several pages of Heidi Swap Sugar Chic paper  scraps and I used my circle punch and cut out lots of circles for this one. Did you notice the pet tag
on this page? When I got it in the mail, it was cracked and the company sent me another one so I glued this one together and saved it for this book.

When I say that Coco is a smaller dog, she really is small. She's a Shorkie which is
Shitz Ysu and Yorkie and will most likely weigh 5 lbs on a good day.
I ordered some fun toys from a great online store, Baxter Boo but they ended
up being too big. Unfortunately these pictures show on my blog darker than they really are
and it was so funny watching Coco trying to lug them around.

This is my most recent pages in the Smash book. Last Monday, Coco
had her first grooming appointment, she was so shaggy and her hair was getting
so long and scruffy.

When I went to pick her up, I couldn't believe this was our same puppy!
So cute and now we can she her face and her body! And I thought
the orange bow was so cute. I made sure to tell my hubby not to
throw her bow out when it fell out, he already knew not to throw it
out.

Next page in the Smash book - Halloween.
Yes, Coco does have an outfit!

In the meantime, I rearranged and reorganized my craft room and began working on some goodie bags made out of envelopes.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!

She is so sweet and the haircut made her even cuter! I can't wait to see her Halloween custume.

She is so cute! I miss scrapbooking. You did a great job! I am surprised she will be so small. I have had both yorkies and shih tzus and they were never that small. Well, I guess 2 of my yorkies have been really small (one of them 2 lbs, the other 4) but usually the Yorkies were around 8 lbs and so were the Shih tzus. Enjoy her she is adorable!

Hello!

I'm also a blogger. I blog about art/lifestyle and diy mostly. I was searching for beautiful style blogs that I enjoy so that I can expand my blog community. <3

I'm looking for any blog-community building advice you could offer as well! I think it's more tough when one has their own domain; it's standalone from the community. I've heard of bloggers promoting content through blog listings like bloglovin', as well as sites where you can earn promotional opportunities for having good content content like Advowire (https://advowire.com//users/profile/new?referral_code=AW36707). Do you use any of these sites to promote content or to collaborate with other bloggers? Do you know of other sites/resources you'd like to recommend?

Thank you so much for reading! Hope to hear from you. xox
