My Latest Smash Book - Subject - Our Puppy, Coco

Back in August, I shared my latest Smash book that I'm working on.
The title/subject for this Smash Book is our puppy, Coco.
You can watch the video here, if you like.
I bought the Retro Blue Smashbook, because I love the soft blue color on the spine.
I love to use Smash books because there's no right or wrong way to add things to the book. Also I use my scrap paper and that saves me money and its a great way to use my leftovers.
The first two pages are where I share when Coco was born, June 7, 2013 and she weighed 2 pounds and 4 ounces when we got here, so very tiny!
Even now it's fun to look back at the pictures and the list I put together.

Because we have cats, we have lots of cat toys! With Coco being so tiny, she loves cat toys, most of the dog and puppy toys are too big for her! And how Coco loves the stray kitten that we recently brought into our home - they are buds and are never without each other.
This is a great example of using paper scraps. I have several pages of Heidi Swap Sugar Chic paper  scraps and I used my circle punch and cut out lots of circles for this one. Did you notice the pet tag
on this page? When I got it in the mail, it was cracked and the company sent me another one so I glued this one together and saved it for this book.

When I say that Coco is a smaller dog, she really is small. She's a Shorkie which is
Shitz Ysu and Yorkie and will most likely weigh 5 lbs on a good day.
I ordered some fun toys from a great online store, Baxter Boo but they ended
up being too big. Unfortunately these pictures show on my blog darker than they really are
and it was so funny watching Coco trying to lug them around.

This is my most recent pages in the Smash book. Last Monday, Coco
had her first grooming appointment, she was so shaggy and her hair was getting
so long and scruffy.
When I went to pick her up, I couldn't believe this was our same puppy!
So cute and now we can she her face and her body! And I thought
the orange bow was so cute. I made sure to tell my hubby not to
throw her bow out when it fell out, he already knew not to throw it
Next page in the Smash book - Halloween.
Yes, Coco does have an outfit!
In the meantime, I rearranged and reorganized my craft room and began working on some goodie bags made out of envelopes.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Day 28, 29 & 30 Challenge

Now that's October, I'm finally getting around to completing the photo-a-day challenge for September.

Day   28: On the shelf
My Filofax is typically in my purse and I can pull it out quickly to write things down.

Day 29: Love
I love cute post it notes that are packaged in a small space with lots of coordinating post it notes in various sizes. This makes for easy decorating the pages in my Filofax!
Day 30: Wide Open
Since my Filofax is small(pocket size) it doesn't lay flat but its still very easy to write down things.
I've written down a makeup project that I read about that I want to see if I can find the next time I
visit Sephora or Ulta. Aren't those stores fun to visit?
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

Day 25, 26 & 27 Planner Addicts Challenge

We're coming down to the end of the photo-a-day challenge for Planner Addicts Facebook Group.
Today I wanted to share three days in order to finish up the challenge tomorrow.
In October, I'll be concentrating on my Smash book and a birthday banner!

25: Pockets
Inside my Filofax pocket is a space to hold credit cards, gift cards but I use these
pockets to hold clips and some smash post it notes. One thing for sure, this can change weekly depending on what I want to work on while at work.

26: Pen Case
I use this Hello Kitty to tote my pens to work., the little pencil case came from Michaels craft store, I think I paid $2. But I also have a more expensive organizer that I got from Mochi Things and it cost $30.95!
 27: Planner Charms
The hubby and I were in Las Vegas in March for a spring vacation and I picked up a couple of charms. This is the perfect size for my Filofax and I remember our trip every day!

Day 24 Planner Addicts Challenge - Brand NEW!

Day 24: Brand New!
This might be my favorite photo-a-day of the challenge!
I just received in the mail some super cute washi tape!

I got this set of thin washi tape from the web site, Jane. It's a great site that has daily deals and while this deal is over, you can check out her Etsy store, Sage K and Co.

I don't have much Christmas washi tape and I found this on another website that features daily deals, Crafty Steals, and always super fast delivery!
And my last washi purchase is from Cute Tape, and they have so many washi tapes to pick from.
With all this new washi tape, this is leading me to another purchase,
masking tape case! $15.99 and a great way to see your washi tape!

Day 22 & 23 Planner Addicts Challenge

Day 22: Post It Notes and Flags
It was fun to pull out my collection of post it notes!
Did you know that Target has so many to pick from in the $1 section?

Day 23: To Do
One of the reasons I have a Filofax is to help me remember what I want to get done.
This to do list is for this weekend.
While some people spend their weekends working on projects around the home such as cleaning,
I try to get my cleaning done during the week so my weekends are for doing my own projects.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Day 20 Planner Addicts Challenge - Handwriting

Day 20: Handwriting
These days we don't spend much time handwriting things, most things are done on the computer.
I used to really like my handwriting but not so much anymore.
It's probably because I'm in a hurry and don't take the time to make it pretty.
I have a section in my Filofax - Quotes,
and while my handwriting is far from pretty, it's me!
Let me show you a few quotes that I really like.

Do you write down quotes that you like or how do you remember them?
If you have a favorite quote, please leave me a comment, I'd love to see what inspires you!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful day!

Day 16, 17, 18 & 19 Planners Addict Challenge

I am so behind in posting my photos for this challenge.
In order to get caught up, I'll combine several days in this post.
Day 16: Supplies
I have become obsessed with Hello Kitty stationary items and have them
store in the hot pink nylon zippered pouch I picked up for a dollar at Target.
And would you believe this is only half of what I have?
I bought this whole bunch of Hello Kitty stuff off a You Tube video and it was offered at a great price. If you haven't thought of You Tube videos as a place to pick up great deals, there are lots of
people selling their unwanted things at great discounted prices.
I have more Hello Kitty things that I'll ever use but I'll give some away and also
lots will be for my little granddaughter.
Also included with the items I bought, were these cute Hello Kitty paperclips and post it notes.
I'm in love with tiny post it notes for my Filofax.
After this challenge is over, I'll be sharing my two Filofaxes and how I'll be decorating them using  post it notes.
Day 17: Creative
I'm just in the beginning stages of organizing my second Filofax and
added to the front, my laminated name divider.

Day 18: By My Drink
After I have my coffee, I will sit down to the computer with my glass of orange juice.

Day 19: Planner Caddy
I bought my caddy at Joanns and keep all my Filofax supplies here.
Makes for easy finding what I need and also I can see that I have a little
room for more things!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Day 15 Planner Addicts Challenge

Day 15: Leaning tower of planners.
I keep my planners on the desk for easy referencing.
I've used binders that I've gotten from my kids when the school year was finished.
But I've also found great binders and file dividers at garage sales for pennies on the dollar.

In the first binder on the left, this binder is holding Christmas Planner that I bought from The Organised Housewife. Which I'll be starting to work on Christmas items very soon!

The second binder holds my scrapbooking things, separated by printouts of projects and
the True Scraps that I've attended.

The third binder holds the 20 Days to Organise and Clean Your Home Challenge printouts.

The fourth binder is a Martha Stewart binder I picked up at Staples and I don't use it but love the color!

And then on the end if a photo album I tucked in also because I love turquoise/aqua!

On the other side of my computer is where I keep my 2 Filofaxes when I'm home.
So as you can see, not really a leaning tower of planners but I do have several planners on my desk.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Working on making dividers for my purple Filofax and should get it all put together this weekend
and start using it!

Have a great weekend!

Day 13 & 14 Planners Addict Challenge

Back today to share day 13 and 14 for the planner addict challenge.
I wasn't able to participate in Day 12 which is Month at a Glance as my planner
isn't set up with a month snapshot.

Day 13: Selfie with planner.
The red Filofax is the one I carry in my purse and it's a Luxe pocket size planner.
My newest planner is purple and it's saffiano personal size planner.
Day 14: Stuffed Full
My planner does hold a lot of information for me and while
I don't feel it's stuffed, it appears stuffed.
I love with my owl pen,

Are you taking part in the photo-a-day challenge?

Day 11 Planners Addict Challenge - Sections

I'm a little behind in sharing my Filofax for the photo-a-day challenge.
Today it's Day 11 - Sections.
Sections can be whatever you want them to be.
Remember in school when you had the subject notebooks and they were
separated by each subject. Well, this is the grown up version of that
and you can add whatever you want your sections to be.
Let me show you a few of my sections.
I've shared a few of my calendar pages, and that's the first section in my Filofax.
My dividers are made from the Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic collection.

One of my sections is "Books to Read", how many times have you heard about a book you want to read, I've got the perfect spot to jot the name down for later referencing.

I also have a section for notes, to do and CTMH.
Having a Filofax aka planner is a great way to keep track of
those everyday things in one compact place.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Wishing you all a great Saturday.

Day 10 Planner Addicts Challenge - Lists

I'm a little behind in sharing my photos each day for the challenge sponsored by Toni from ABFOL.
Today it's time to show Day 10 - Lists.
In my pocket Filofax I have a section that I'll be moving over to my pocket Filofax this weekend.
Does anyone keep lists? I find that lists are a great way to keep track of what you have and also what you need or want, or projects to do. I also keep lists for other items, such as a grocery list, which I'm not going to share today.

For this page, you're probably wondering what this means, it's a list of the copic marker colors that I'd like to get and when I'm out shopping, I can quickly look to make sure I don't buy a duplicate one. These markers cost $4 - $6 each depending where I'm shopping and can be a costly mistake.

This is my list of favorite songs this summer. The plan is to make a Smash page of this very soon.
No reason why I used different colors other than I thought it was fun!

I also put together a list of Smash ideas that I thought would be fun.
It's been a few weeks since I worked on my Smash books,
would you believe I now have 3 of them now?
One is about our puppy, Coco, one is about me and the other one is a surprise!
Anyway, I got off topic.
Thanks for stopping by!
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
