This fall I purchased quite a few gingerbread items at Goodwill and decided to break away a bit from the snowman theme and decorate my kitchen/dining room with gingerbread.
We've got a nice big window in the dining room that I thought would be perfect to hang a gingerbread theme wreath. I found all of the ball ornaments at Goodwill and everything else is from Hobby Lobby or Michaels.
I finished it up last night and took a picture to see what it looked like. I still had plenty of ornaments left over and decided it wasn't full enough.
So this morning as DH was making the turkey, I removed some of the poinsetta's and glues on the rest of the ornaments.
I love how it turned out and it wasn't hard at all, considering that I burned my thumb bad enough that I got a blister. That hot glue is HOT - sheesh that really hurt!
And with all craft projects, I've got another project in mind but I can't say much more right now.
I'm linking up to The Inspired Room and the Holiday Linky Party, Fireflies and Jelly Beans and the Show Off Your Stuff Party and Transformation Thursday at The Shabby Chic Cottage.

Well done, this is such a cute wreath, the gingerbread theme is a sweet idea.
I love the gingerbread theme especially for a kitchen and your wreath is a beauty!
I love the way your wreath is crammed with interesting things - the gingerbread looks good too. Hmm I've got a bit of inspiration there, I wonder where I can use that.
