Restyling Our Covered Deck

Last year, our covered deck looked like this..
Most of my finds are from Goodwill that I picked up during the winter months..

There was a lot going on but..

I loved it...

This year I decided to go with a softer less cluttered look..

and use beige, soft blue and white colors...

I've got several birdhouses but this time they had to fit the color scheme...

I couldn't not use my rusty watering cans...
but I'm not done.....today I'll be adding the finishing touches...
Wishing everyone a great Memorial Day.

This looks so inviting either way you do it up but isn't is so much fun to change things up?

Looks beautiful. I am trying to go with a less clutered look also, and I also want to add pink to my patio. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. Karie

Very pretty. Great mix of accessories. I love the wicker. We need new porch furniture and we're thinking of wicker.

Lovely porch, it looks great before or the after. Also love the wicker.

It is gorgeous both ways! I have been leaning toward less is more lately. It seems to be more relaxing and the beauty of the objects can be seen and not overlooked because there is so much to look at. Great deck. I know you enjoy being out there.

So pretty and cozy looking! I like your second look better -- and less to have to clean, dust, etc.! Love the rusty watering can and the birdhouse too!

It looks lovely BOTH ways :) Now if you really wanted a big impact you could paint that wicker. Once I painted mine red they really popped against my white walls and became their own decoration :)

What a delicious space. I wonder how it should be a pleasant conversation and tea.
Kisses and good weekend!

Love your blog! Your wicker pieces are timeless and I, too, love both looks--the blue with white is calming--perfect little touches.

I love it! Great inspiration! My porch is bare and needs some love and attention!

Very nice! White wicker is so quaint and chic. My porch is also bare and this is great inspiration.

This is just so simple and so cute. I love all of it. We are looking at a few decks with some different designs we might get. But we aren't sure what we want yet. Maybe something like this! Thanks for posting.
