I've been decorating my kitchen with gingerbread men for several years now and it's all because of Goodwill. Many of my things are from Goodwill and I continue to watch for gingerbread items all year long.
It's very easy to become a hoarder so I have to walk away from many things that are cute but too primitive or country for my home.
I pulled my mixer out of the pantry and have been putting it to good use this season.
The frame and the breadbox are both from Goodwill, I still need to put a picture in the frame.
The potholders are from Hobby Lobby, I think I got them last year?
One of the popular Christmas decorating things this year are snowglobes.
I took a pickle jar I was saving and spray painted the lid and placed a gingerbread man
inside and added some artificial snow, super easy project!
The gingerbread couple is from Goodwill from a couple of years ago.
This year I decided not to put up the Christmas tree in the dining room with
the gingerbread ornaments, instead I put a poinsetta in it's place and it adds a
nice splash of red.
The terrarium is also another find at Goodwill which I added some gingerbread items.
The top of the hutch is another fun space for adding more gingerbread things.
I added the primitive candy canes that I made.
I wanted to make sure to use the white platter that I got at Goodwill a couple of months ago.
I added a couple of flameless candles with a gingerbread man.
I love these little poinsetta plants I got at Target one year right after Christmas on clearance.
I made this wreath three years ago from gingerbread items and ornaments I got at Goodwill.
You can read more about it here.
I hang this wreath every year, usually needs a few thing hot glued back on
plus it's fun to see what's all on it.
Some of the ornaments are from Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree too.
Even though Christmas is less than a week away, I've been loving the
paper cone wreaths. But I best get going on it!
Thanks for stopping by today!
