Here's what I did last year at Easter time for my family...
I just happened to have blue canning jars from an auction that DH and I attended and use them instead of the traditional Easter baskets for my kids.
(all are over 20 years old but still want the candy that comes with Easter.)
Crystal helped me put them together.
First we added the malted bird eggs...
Then the rolo's, jelly beans, M & M's and set up the peeps around the edge and then continued to fill up the jar with more candy!
and nothing says Easter more than peeps...
Talk about colorful!
It was a little bit of work..but we were up to the challenge...
Aren't they so dang cute!
And leftovers! I love Peeps!
And now they actually sell chocolate covered peeps....

Knew I had to stop when I smelled the candy!
How adorable!
What a cute idea!
Great idea - especially for older "children" who don't really want a basket (like the guys). :-)
That's a great idea!! Very clever and I hope they got to keep the jars LOL!! Judi
That's really a cute idea. My daughter is always saying, "Now what do I do with this basket?" LOL
