Did you all have a wonderful 4th of July?
It was quiet around here and I spent quite a bit of time in working on some layouts..
and my workspace quickly got messy...
I made three layouts yesterday and left them to dry...
I used quite a bit of Bahama Blue Glimmer Mist and used the Sunday paper comic section
to catch the overspray....
I misted a fabric flower and lace for this layout...love this blue with yellow...
I still haven't put away the things I bought at Hobby Lobby last week...
the thought is that I want to use them right away but then I don't want to use
them up so fast...pure nonsense!
I'm trying to figure out how to put two pictures on a layout and I'm okay with this layout but
not loving it...
This layout was done as part of a challenge for a online course that I'm taking through Colored Sprinkles....the challenge was to add lots of layers...and there's lots of that...
any suggestions, please leave me a comment and let me know...

Sorry it has taken me so long to get round to all the posts. I am on holidays at the rv and have had back to back company!

You do wonderful scrapbooking! I tried a few times but it's just not where my talent lays.. Hmm Im not sure where my talent belongs come to think of it.. LOL

Haha! I know just what you mean about buying great stuff to use up and then not wanting to use it up so fast! I've figured that out about myself and so now, if at all possible, I just buy two, one to use now and one to "save"! lol I don't know if I have any advice for your lay-outs...I've only done one scrapbook and that was for a friend. And I forgot to take pictures! Ugh. But I did like how it turned out and she says she loves it so...anyways, there's that. :) But I love the first 2 lay-outs and the picture on the last lay-out...the only thing I can think of is that the last lay-out has a little too much white space, if that makes any sense? Maybe ink it up some? But then again, its hard to tell on the computer, ya know? It may be perfect just like it is, at any rate I love that picture of the dog in glasses and feather boa! Too cute! :)
