Canning Jars @ the Kitchen Sink?

If you're like me, you tend to read a LOT of blogs and beome inspired to do more projects than you possibly have time for. Right?
I have several of those pretty blue canning jars, mostly found at Goodwill for a couple of dollars.

But I wasn't real excited about cutting a hole in the lid..so I did a search and found the
Factory Direct Craft Company

(We've got a cat that loves to lick the bottom of the sink and comes running whenever there's a possiblity of water running!)

And they sell kits to turn your jar into a dispenser. I ordered several of them because the shipping is kind of expensive. I also liked the fact that you can get different colored lids, if you like.

So now instead of having the plastic container of hand soap on the kitchen sink, mine is now in a blue canning jar...And then I put the dish soap in a larger jar...

Cute! I actually ordered some of these from Gooseberry Patch several years ago but the pumps broke so I eventually got rid of them. If only I'd known I could order extra lids and pumps. Yours look great!

Oh, what a great idea! I love the look with your sweet jars. I may just have to get me some. Now seeing your little kitty in the sink is just a hoot! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
