On Tuesday, I got this wonderful picnic basket at Goodwill. It was dirty, it was peeling and it was dented...to me it was perfect!
The wood and wicker was really dry too. I pulled out that Orange cleaner and now it's clean and it smells like oranges!
I put it in the corner in our bedroom...no, we aren't going to picnic in our bedroom...
I'm going to use it to store our receipts....previously we used a Priority Box (very classy, huh?)
And I can set some magazines on top instead of piling them on the nightstand...

Good Morning, Terry! Oh, I LOVE old picnic baskets. I have a stack of them in my bedroom - five all together. And, I have that very one as well.
Right now, they're storing quilting fabric and cross stitch supplies. Aren't they great!
Good Morning.
What a sweet basket you found and how useful it will be for you!
Sincerely ~ Tricia
Absolutely perfect use for your basket. The "imperfections" add character and it looks very nice holding excess clutter in the bedroom. I need about 10 'o those. Yeeup.
I love your attitude towards recycling. You did a great job. The picnic basket can definitely contain more receipts, mail, etc. Thanks for sharing your innovative idea.

Sweet Up-North Mornings...
I've always loved picnic baskets. Yours is perfect.
... and your furry friends are so adorable!
What a fun find! I like how you're using it...it is a step or two (or three) up from a Priority box ;) Love your fur babies.
