Ashley in Japan

I've missed a couple of days of work this week, not sure if I caught a bug or what but thankfully I feel a lot better now...

My youngest daughter, Ashley has been studying abroad in Japan since February.

Ashley did have a blog but wasn't faithful about posting things so I wanted to share some of her pictures she's posted on her Facebook page.

Ashley tutored this cute little girl while in Japan and the family took Ashley under their wings while she's been there.

This is the version of photo booths in Japan, much more fun than the black and white photo booths in the US.

Ashley here, in the native garb...

Ashley said that you have to put this on in order to try clothes on in Japan.

Eating sushi with a bunch of friends she made in Japan..

And next Tuesday, DH and I will be driving to the Omaha to pick her up.  On Friday, it'll be time for her to head back to college for her third year.

Happy Friday!

Hi Terry-

Thanks for visitng my blog and leaving a comment. The idea of taking all the stuff your daughter brings home from Japan is terrific and mounting it will look great - unique and a great converstion starter.

After looking at some of your posts and sidebar I think we have a lot in common. I couldn't help but notice OCNJ on your husband's shirt in your sidebar. OCNJ is my favorite place on earth. I wrote a post about it back in June. My two cats look exactly like two of yours, although their names are Trax and Mittens. I have two grown daughters, also. My oldest is out of college and currently in the Peace Corps in Africa. My youngest is a Jr in college. So far I am enjoying my empty nest.

I am following you now also.
My best- Diane
