Day 25, 26 & 27 Planner Addicts Challenge

We're coming down to the end of the photo-a-day challenge for Planner Addicts Facebook Group.

Today I wanted to share three days in order to finish up the challenge tomorrow.
In October, I'll be concentrating on my Smash book and a birthday banner!

25: Pockets
Inside my Filofax pocket is a space to hold credit cards, gift cards but I use these
pockets to hold clips and some smash post it notes. One thing for sure, this can change weekly depending on what I want to work on while at work.

26: Pen Case
I use this Hello Kitty to tote my pens to work., the little pencil case came from Michaels craft store, I think I paid $2. But I also have a more expensive organizer that I got from Mochi Things and it cost $30.95!

 27: Planner Charms
The hubby and I were in Las Vegas in March for a spring vacation and I picked up a couple of charms. This is the perfect size for my Filofax and I remember our trip every day!

Have a great week!

Day 22 & 23 Planner Addicts Challenge

Day 22: Post It Notes and Flags
It was fun to pull out my collection of post it notes!
Did you know that Target has so many to pick from in the $1 section?

Day 23: To Do
One of the reasons I have a Filofax is to help me remember what I want to get done.
This to do list is for this weekend.
While some people spend their weekends working on projects around the home such as cleaning,
I try to get my cleaning done during the week so my weekends are for doing my own projects.

Day 20 Planner Addicts Challenge - Handwriting

Day 20: Handwriting

These days we don't spend much time handwriting things, most things are done on the computer.
I used to really like my handwriting but not so much anymore.
It's probably because I'm in a hurry and don't take the time to make it pretty.

I have a section in my Filofax - Quotes,
and while my handwriting is far from pretty, it's me!
Let me show you a few quotes that I really like.

Do you write down quotes that you like or how do you remember them?
If you have a favorite quote, please leave me a comment, I'd love to see what inspires you!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a wonderful day!

Day 16, 17, 18 & 19 Planners Addict Challenge

I am so behind in posting my photos for this challenge.
In order to get caught up, I'll combine several days in this post.

Day 16: Supplies
I have become obsessed with Hello Kitty stationary items and have them
store in the hot pink nylon zippered pouch I picked up for a dollar at Target.
And would you believe this is only half of what I have?

I bought this whole bunch of Hello Kitty stuff off a You Tube video and it was offered at a great price. If you haven't thought of You Tube videos as a place to pick up great deals, there are lots of
people selling their unwanted things at great discounted prices.

I have more Hello Kitty things that I'll ever use but I'll give some away and also
lots will be for my little granddaughter.

Also included with the items I bought, were these cute Hello Kitty paperclips and post it notes.
I'm in love with tiny post it notes for my Filofax.

After this challenge is over, I'll be sharing my two Filofaxes and how I'll be decorating them using  post it notes.

Day 17: Creative
I'm just in the beginning stages of organizing my second Filofax and
added to the front, my laminated name divider.

Day 18: By My Drink
After I have my coffee, I will sit down to the computer with my glass of orange juice.

Day 19: Planner Caddy
I bought my caddy at Joanns and keep all my Filofax supplies here.
Makes for easy finding what I need and also I can see that I have a little
room for more things!!

Day 13 & 14 Planners Addict Challenge

Back today to share day 13 and 14 for the planner addict challenge.

I wasn't able to participate in Day 12 which is Month at a Glance as my planner
isn't set up with a month snapshot.

Day 13: Selfie with planner.
The red Filofax is the one I carry in my purse and it's a Luxe pocket size planner.
My newest planner is purple and it's saffiano personal size planner.

Day 14: Stuffed Full
My planner does hold a lot of information for me and while
I don't feel it's stuffed, it appears stuffed.
I love with my owl pen,

Monday Menu Week March 4th

I've been slack and hadn't put together a weekly menu together for quite some time.
And it ends up being a last minute decision on what to make. Because I need structure,
this wasn't working so well for me so I decided that I had to get back into the habit and
getting this back in place for peace of mind. Plus we save on groceries and then
don't buy more than what we need.

With that said, here's this weeks menu.

Monday -  Chicken Noodle Soup
Tuesday - Breakfast Tator Tot Casserole
Wednesday - Pizza Pot Pie
Thursday - Tilapia
Friday - Crock Pot Lazy Cabbage Rolls
Saturday - Ranchy Crockpot Chicken

The breakfast tator tot casserole was found on Pinterest and has quickly become on of our favorite meals,
it's easy, only need a few ingredients and it's so yummy!
Have you found a favorite recipe on Pinterest?
If so, please share!

Thanks for stopping by today.
Wishing you all a wonderful week.

SMASH - What the BLEEP was I Thinking?

Yes, I'm alive - I just took some time off from blogging and got several projects done around here.

I'm back and today and would like to share a few pages from my SMASH book.

SMASHING is a great project for anyone, especially people who don't scrapbook yet have
mementos that they want to keep to remember.
SMASH book costs $15 and many times you can use a coupon
and get it 40-50% off at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanns.
Target carries them but they don't offer any coupons, that I'm aware of.

I'm one of those people who get all excited about something and spend lots of time
at the beginning really loving it but this SMASH thing is so much fun.
I haven't decorated the outside of it like many people do, maybe later.
These two pages were inspired by a You Tube challenge from
One Happy Crafty Chick.
The challenge was to have at least two pictures of yourself with unflattering hair, clothes, makeup,
something that made you think - 'What the BLEEP was I thinking?'

When I started looking through pictures, first of all there aren't a lot of pictures of me.
I am usually the person taking the pictures but the ones I did find had a common
denominator - I had perms and they were really curly!
The next two pages, were not part of a challenge but rather pictures I pulled out of photo albums.
I LOVE these pictures of my hubby. He's the most gorgeous man and I love him dearly.
I love this picture, my youngest was baking away with her Easy Bake Oven
and Steve was watching her and also ready for any samples as they were available.
I've taken so many pictures of Macie and many of them have been used for layout pages but there are still so many that I hadn't used.

I know some people SMASH magazine clippings but I want to
keep my more of a scrapbook SMASH book with pictures
that we'll enjoy looking at years from now.

For these two pages, I filled one page with strips of washi tape that I have
You know, years from now, washi tape just might be a thing of the past.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I'm thinking about doing a monthly SMASH challenge, let me know if you'd be interested.
For more SMASH inspiration, please visit my SMASH book board on Pinterest.
Have a wonderul day!

I Miss My Christmas Tree!

We took the Christmas tree down and put away the decorations on Sunday and our home now looks blah and empty. I'm already missing turning the Christmas tree on in the morning and seeing the lights twinkle in the darkness.

Today, I've put together some Christmas pictures from bloggy land to share with you.
