Have you seen this little generic notepads in the stores? I like keep a notepad in my purse to keep list of things I need to get or keep track of errands I need to do. But this notepad was ugly and I decided to alter and make it more to my liking.
And here's the after, I think it took me 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes at the most.
And added a little embellishment, it needed to lay flat so it doesn't get pulled off.
And because this was so easy, I got more of these notepads and give them as gifts at Christmas time.

New follower from Over 40...You are so creative! I'm off to the Dollar store for those little notebooks!
I love that notebook transformation. It turned out so cute. Something else to put on my list to try out.

This is lovely! :) And a cute gift too.
How'd you do it in 5 mins? Do you just glue scrapbook paper to the cover and wrap it around the edges of the front cover and glue it down?
Such a cute idea! I did something similar for my daughter and a couple of her friends!
