The Grass is Greener in My Yard

The weather is finally cooperating and our yard is beginning to bloom! DH and I have spent countless hours planting perennials and bulbs in our backyard and very soon we'll be full of color.

In the other corner, we've got a bench that I plan on painting and pruning some of the plants. DH took pictures for me last night and he didn't take any of the other side. Today it's raining but that's good for the flowers so I'm not complaining - it's a perfect day to do some cleaning, watch TV, read and definitely fit in a nap!

Don't these look like they came from the store? From our own backyard - just beautiful!

Wishing everyone a very nice weekend!

That is a big job to plant all those plants for sure. It looks great and will look even better. Especially after those trees in the background get a little bigger and fuller and sort of cover or mask those buildings that you have a view of there. Your grass is so lush and green. Good thing for the rain now and then to help keep it green. :-) Hope you are having a great weekend.
