Happy One Year Anniversary

Today is Crystal and Stuart's one year wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe one year has passed. Less than one month after getting married, Stuart accepted a position in his hometown, which is 90 minutes away. Their home was put on the market and they moved in February. In May, they became the parents of a beagle named Bailey.

I'd like to share some of my favorite wedding pictures.

Happy Anniversary Crystal & Stuart!

Wishing both of you a lifetime of love!

I'm linking up to We Are That Family Blogoversary Carnival.

What a beautiful wedding! Happy anniversary to them!!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and commenting on my little furniture makeover. I would be so happy to offer you some tips! No, I didn't do a lot of sanding, just enough to rough the surface up a little bit. You don't have to go to bare wood. Make sure you use a really good paint brush, and really good primer and paint. I like Purdy brushes and Behr paint and Kilz primer. When you paint on your primer coat, make sure you let it dry for at least an hour, and when you put on your paint, make sure you brush it on pretty thin. Don't glop it on, and allow it to dry for at least four hours. I actually usually wait a whole day between coats. It allows the paint to dry completely, and it gives you a nice long break from painting, too. :) When you get your painting done, make sure you let it dry completely before putting on your hardware. This is usually the hardest part for me, cause by this point I just want the project to be done. But make sure you wait, cause you don't want to ding up your brand new paint. Oh, another important tip is to make sure the room that your painting in is not too hot. I usually keep the room that I'm painting in around 65 degrees or so. This keeps the paint from drying too fast. Well, that's about it. Hopefully it helps, and you get that old furniture looking like new!! :)

What gorgeous wedding pics! I love red - my fave color - and the same my attendants wore in my wedding soooo many years ago.

Thanks for sharing!

PS - Just noticed in your hubby's pic his wearing a t-shirt that has OC, NJ, on it. Could we be neighbors??? I'm about 2 hours south of OC, NJ.
