Shabby Chic Granny Square Afghan by Yours Truly

I am constantly inspired by so many talented people and their blogs.

Back in February, I showed you all the colorful projects done by Attic24 and I wanted to show you what I've been working on...

Lots of these...crocheted granny squares...

I should've kept track of how much yarn I used...

and how many hours I've worked on this while watching "24" off Netflix...

Most of the squares are joined together...

and it's fun to see it come together...

I love the soft colors.......

and I hope to complete it this weekend....

Don't forget to click here for my 500 follower giveaway!

I'm linking to these parties.....

My grandmother made me a king sized GS afghan 31 years ago and I still treasure it - so warm and cozy and especially colorful!! Yours is beautiful!

I seen your granny squares and had to pop in- oh the memories that brings back.
I learned to make these many, many years ago when I was but a wee one.
I haven't made any for years- wonder if I can remember how?
Thanks for sharing
