Kitchen - Day Five - Done!

Don't forget that Sunday I'll be starting my very first linky party! Each Sunday, you will share a blog that you love, read daily, gives you inspiration...whatever it is..you just love this blog...

Cherished Treasures”=

Don't you just love it when you find a great blog? Plan on showing a blog you love and at the same time, people can look at your blog!

Now onto our kitchen project....

Day five in our project of painting the kitchen cabinets  - all that was left was to put the hardware back on and reinstall the doors.

Here's what our kitchen looked like before...

Our very full and messy kitchen...

The pantry..

And the cabinet under the sink that we added the wood applique..

I think you get the idea...oak, lots of oak!

Here's my that cabinet now...

And the crown molding we added, looks like it's always been there!

More of the detailing...

And yes, we are one of those families...our cat, Gilmore lives on the counter!

 We're loving our new kitchen!

Terry, thank you so much for joining the Fab Nest Friday, there are some great links on your page, off to say hello. In the mean time, I just love what you have done to your kitchen, amazing results, it hardly looks like the same place. Simply stunning.
(also, I had to google you as the link you posted on FNF could not be found, i tried to change it for you but it won't let me, when you have a moment, you may want to stop by and add another link). Have a great weekend.

You have my dream cabinets! Your new kitchen looks wonderful! You guys did a terrific job with it!

would you future post what steps you took with the paint? It looks as if it is enamel or laquer? And did you spray it all, and did you clear coat it? Did you do the cabinet painting yourself, or did you hire it out? Paint that fine is almost impossible to do by hand or domestic sprayer! Looks great!

I love your cabinets! My current oak cabinets make me stabby when I look at them. I want to add crown molding to spiffy them up and give them a coat of bright red paint.

Hi....found you from Java's Over 40 Bloggers. Always fun to meet new bloggers and learn from them

Loving the new kitchen look. I remember about 13 years ago, I redid my kitchen cabinets....they were dark 70's brown, and I painted them white. It looked wonderful....BUT A PROJECT I DO NOT EVER WANT TO HAVE TO REPEAT. It was hard work. I did it all by myself just after a divorce.

Ronya said...

I just love your cabinets...look just like the ones you see at the big home improvement stores! I too have gotten rid of the "brown cabinets" and have Antique White, although mine don't look as nice as yours. Would love to know the treatment used to give them the wonderful "Antiqued look".

Oh my, what a lovely transformation. This is an inspiration and an assurance that yes, I can do that too! For so long I've been wanting to paint my kitchen in something similar to that.... the light, the feeling of freedom and cleanliness that white paint brings amazes me... just totally lovely. Ah yes, I will have to come back to read more.... thank you for participating in our "Show Off Your Cottage Monday" and bringing me here! ;)

Have a blessed day
