Where I Craft

My scrapbook/craft area/office can get messy very quickly when I'm working on a project. It might be because I don't finish one before starting another one...very possibly ADD..

I've shown my area before but thought I'd show you what it looks like now...I tend to move stuff around, never really satisified with the look.

My table holds lots of things that I use every day..
flowers that I've made, buttons, ribbon, scissors, adhesives..you name it..

I got this cupcake holder for Christmas but use it to store my buttons and flowers and also some of my projects...

Here's a closeup...also handy is my candy dish...I can't have chocolate otherwise I would have an empty candy dish.

Here's a glimpse of my sewing box (found at Goodwill) and I store a couple of different color threads and needles. Also the altered International Coffee tins that I keep my flowers in..also is the tub of baby wipes that I added fabric to it to make it pretty!

This tray seems to be the catch all place.
It holds new things I buy, Glimmermist, gum, my glasses and
lots of misc stuff.

I try to keep things functional and also pretty to look at..

The ladybug teapot was found at Goodwill for a couple of dollars..
One of my fun find!

I think I have 25 magazine holders from Ikea in my room.
I use them to organize my scrapping embellishments..
hence - the heart on the one holder is for Valentine's decorating..
time to move it out of the main area...

The altered binder that holds vintage birthday, Christmas and Valentine's Day cards...

I hope you enjoyed looking at my space..especially since..
it won't look this nice for very long!

Please don't forget to link to my weekly Sunday Blog Love party..
I'll have it up and ready tomorrow morning..

And another giveaway is coming soon!
Have a great Friday.

I love this post! You've given me some motivation to post pictures of my crafting space (now= messy) and then follow up with some cleaning/organizing so I can share after pictures! Make myself accountable for my mess and half finished projects! :)

Your space is great. I especially love the cupcake holder as an organizational tool. I've been looking at them but couldn't think of how I would use it since I don't make cupcakes that often. Now I know what to do with it. I'll be watching for them to go on clearance after holidays in hopes of snagging a great deal and help to organize.

What a great idea to use a cup cake holder for some things you are working on. Brillant.

Love it! I love the entire look! Where did you get your chair, the white one? Is there wheels on it? Also, I see a pattern in your little tray....are you going to sew something soon?

Your room looks so pretty. I'm still working on mine. I can either scrapbook or try to decorate my room. I never seem to finish either one!

How cute is your space. I just love it. Someday I am hoping for a space of my own but for now there are kids in all my possible spaces.

How inviting. You must love being in your space. I think what caught my eye the most was the frame, possibly used to be a mirror. Is it a pincushion now? I love it!

I've been blog hopping and found your blog (that means I forgot where I came from when I found you). lol

Anyways, I'm enjoying your blog and I've gotten some inspiration from your crafting area. I'm trying to create a corner in my room for that and I have stuff in my closet too. I liked what you did with the reused boxes and the cupcake thingy. I wanted one of those and thought..ok what do I do when I don't display cupcakes. Now I know what I can do. :)

I like the idea of moving stuff out of the way to work on a different season.

I think I have ADD and my daughter has been recently diagnosed, so I look for great ideas on blogs all the time. It was looking for organizing ideas that I decided to blog myself.

Sorry for being so long winded.
