My Altered Coupon Binder

In January, when I quit my job, it was important that we spend as little money as possible not to mention that we spend our money wisely...

One of the ways we changed our spending habits was by using coupons...and really make sure we used them for products that we would normally buy...

And when anybody uses coupons, it's important to figure out how to organize those coupons...

This is my coupon binder...nothing special and I think I even got it at Goodwill...
its full of coupons and definitely nothing special to look at...
I decided it was time to get my scrapbook papers and embellishments out and get it altered.

I made this rose from some lace that I got at Goodwill, that I showed you here.

and added a flower made from tissue paper and a chipboard embellishment...

added more lace to the sentiment, this really helped to bring this into the shabby chic look that I love so much...

This picture doesn't do this justice, it's very pretty...

 this is the backside...

loving the glitter on this sentiment...

I'm linking to these parties...

Pretty and great idea to decorate it! My dollar store one is falling apart. I think it's time for a new one and I can make it pretty like yours!

I LOVE it, it's so cute! I don't use coupons but that's a great idea for a full size file binder too. Thanks!
