Chalkboard Project

A couple of years I found one of those picture frames that hold lots of different size pictures. I bought it for my youngest daughter but she put her nose up in the air when I showed it to her. So I put it under the steps - where everything gets put when we don't know what to do with it.

I've been hanging onto that picture frame wondering what I would do with it because the frame is really cute. There have been so many blogs out there showing cute things done with chalkboard paint so I finally decided to give it a shot.

Here's the frame as is..in black...

I spray painted it red (favorite color beside white and pink) and here it is...

This morning I made my usual Goodwill run and found this cute tulip hanging...

Yeah - we're having steak and baked potato tonight!!
Happy Saturday!

This is a great idea! Thanks for sharing. Love the red frame of course. So how do you keep the area under your phone so neat? Mine is always a MESS!
